Discover the essence of Morocco in this 10-day adventure from the Red City of Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert to the spiritual heart of Fez, the blue streets of Chefchaouen, and the Atlantic charm of Asilah. Experience ancient medinas, vibrant souks, mountain kasbahs, camel rides in the dunes, and unforgettable cultural encounters.

Itinerario

Day 1 – Marrakech

Arrival at Marrakech Airport and transfer to your riad.

Overnight in Riad/Hotel

Day 2 – Marrakech: The Red City

After breakfast, cultural tour with a local guide through the old Medina of Marrakech and its souks (markets).
A colorful and lively city, Marrakech was once home to sultans and concubines. Its richness is reflected in the palaces and gardens that fill the city with color and glory. People from all over the world roam its streets and riads, breathing life into the famous Djamaa El Fna Square.

Afternoon and dinner: Free
Overnight in Riad/Hotel

Day 3 – Marrakech / Dades Gorges

Breakfast at the riad or 4* hotel.
Departure from Marrakech in the morning, crossing the magnificent High Atlas Mountains toward Ait-Ben-Haddou.

Guided visit of the traditional ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a famous filming location for international movies.
Suggested lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue along the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs, passing the palm grove of Skoura.

Day 4 – Dades Gorges / Sahara Desert (Erg Chebbi)

After breakfast, travel to the majestic Todra Gorges.

Suggested stop for lunch and relaxing by the clear mountain water.
Begin the desert road and gradually immerse yourself in the spirit of the Sahara.
At the end of the road, the grand Sahara Desert awaits.
Camels await patiently to take guests deep into the dunes, into the heart of the desert, where nomadic tents welcome visitors. Dinner is prepared by firelight and served by candlelight.

This is a unique experience that allows you to live the true spirit of Berber nomadic life. The tents are properly equipped for tourism.

Day 5 – Sahara Desert

After breakfast, set off to cross the Black Desert, retracing the paths of the Paris-Dakar Rally.

Stop to visit nomadic families and enjoy a mint tea prepared over a wood fire.
Visit the Fossil Mountain.
Suggested lunch in a traditional Berber house.
Continue the day visiting the region, stopping in the village of Khamlia, where black Berbers originally from Sudan welcome visitors with the warmth and rhythm of their tribal music – drums and castanets.
This Gnawa music often awakens the desire to dance.

Day 6 – Sahara Desert / Fez

After breakfast, depart for Fez.

Travel through the stunning Ziz Valley and pass the Hassan II Dam.
Suggested lunch in Midelt.
Continue the trip toward the majestic Cedar Forest, home to wild monkeys.
Pass through Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland,” famous for its snow-capped mountains and chalet-style houses.

Day 7 – Fez

Breakfast at the riad, followed by a visit to the mystical Medina of Fez.

Entering the Medina is like stepping back centuries in time. You’ll experience the smells and sounds of its 3,000 narrow streets.

Visit to the Tannery, the Karaouine University, Medressa (Quranic School), herbalist shops – all while learning the stories behind the sites.
Free time for lunch during the tour.
In the afternoon, panoramic view of the city and visit to a traditional pottery workshop.

Day 8 – Fez / Meknés / Volubilis / Chefchaouen

fter breakfast, depart for Chefchaouen.

Stop in Meknés to visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and the monumental city gates.
Continue to Volubilis and then travel through the beautiful Rif Mountains.
🛌 Dinner free at the lively and aromatic main square of Chefchaouen. Overnight in Dar/Hotel.

Day 9 – Chefchaouen / Asilah

Breakfast in a traditional dar.

Free morning to enjoy the blue-washed Medina of Chefchaouen.
After lunch, continue to Asilah. Arrival in the afternoon.
🛌 Dinner free, overnight in a traditional dar in Asilah.

Day 10 – Asilah / Tangier

Breakfast and transfer to Tangier port at the chosen time.
